Prof. Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch

Member, Board of Governors – PCNAHS

Prof. Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch is a highly esteemed academician, researcher, and policy leader with decades of experience in higher education, public administration, and institutional development. He brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Board of Governors at the Professional College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences.

Dr. Baloch has served in several key academic positions, including Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar Khan Rind University, Sibi, and Director of Higher Studies & Research at Islamia College University, Peshawar. His academic contributions span management sciences, tourism, and organizational development, with numerous publications in national and international journals.

In 2023, Dr. Baloch was appointed as the Caretaker Minister for Education and Tourism in Balochistan, where he led impactful initiatives to uplift public sector education and promote inclusive access in underserved regions.

As a member of our Board of Governors, Dr. Baloch plays a vital advisory role in strengthening academic quality, institutional governance, and strategic planning at PCNAHS. His presence reinforces our commitment to excellence in nursing and allied health education.

Shankar Bhawani

Prof. Dr. Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry

Member, Board of Governors – PCNAHS

Prof. Dr. Bhawani Shankar Chowdhry is a globally respected academic, electronics engineer, and higher education reformist with a remarkable legacy in science, technology, and innovation. As a member of the Board of Governors at the Professional College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, he brings visionary leadership and academic excellence to our institution. He holds the position of Professor Emeritus and Advisor at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, where he also served as Dean of the Faculty of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering. His research contributions span embedded systems, ICT, and engineering education, with numerous international publications and collaborations. Dr. Chowdhry has represented Pakistan on various global platforms and has been instrumental in academic exchanges under the Erasmus Mundus and other European Commission programs. In recognition of his services to science and education, he was conferred the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s highest civilian honors, in 2022. As a valued member of our Board, Dr. Chowdhry offers strategic guidance in the integration of technology, innovation, and academic quality assurance—enhancing the educational impact of PCNAHS.
Dr. Naveed

Mr. Naveed Akbar

Mr. Naveed Akbar is an experienced educationist and administrator, currently serving as the Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors at The University of Chenab, Gujrat. He is known for his leadership in higher education management, institutional development, and faculty advancement. At UChenab, Mr. Akbar has played a key role in academic planning, infrastructure growth, and strengthening governance structures. His active involvement in national-level training and educational events reflects his commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance. As a member of the Board of Governors at PCNAHS, Mr. Akbar brings strategic insight, administrative expertise, and a strong vision for advancing healthcare education.

Dr. Sourath Abdul Qayoom Mahar

Chief Executive Officer – PCNAHS

Dr. Sourath Abdul Qayoom Mahar is an accomplished educationist and leader with over 10 years of experience in higher education and skills development. As the CEO of Professional College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences (PCNAHS), she has played a key role in enhancing academic quality and expanding healthcare programs. Dr. Mahar holds a PhD in Management Sciences, specializing in Human Resource, and has been instrumental in establishing affiliations with prominent institutions and regulatory bodies. Her leadership has contributed to the growth of PCNAHS, emphasizing female education and rural healthcare workforce inclusion.
